. . . =================================================== Azil 1994 =================================================== . Child, come here to my skin Innocence, I love to corrupt thee Once there was many Azil chose but me Child, come, quickly to me . We ruled this foul land with coercion We murdered each other's sons We fought one another for power Until all were killed but this one When I was the victor, it was mine . And now I am master of these poor wretches I put them in cages and watch them rot I put them in armour and watch them die I use their daughters and feed them to the horses And they obey me still . The magic I use is a simple one I crush them when they rebel I crush them when they obey And still they revere me like filthy curs But sacrifice to Azil is my nightly task . The riches I take to keep them starving I need not the money nor the jewels I fear no mortal, the land is secure No puny chief dare strike at me I torture them in any case . And so to Azil I do bow Musing here in tower strong So come to me, oh child I will not hurt you, not for long You will sleep soon enough. . =================================================== (c) 1994 James McGowan - all rights reserved =================================================== .
